Datum have recently taken delivery of a Correa Prisma 20 CNC Milling Machine

It is equipped with the latest Heidenhain iTNC-530 controller and has a spindle speed range of 50-30000 RPM with the optional i-bag attachment. It has a feed rate of 20m/min in 'X' and 12m/min in 'Y' & 'Z'.

The machine table is 2.3M x 0.9M and has a machining envelope of 2.0M (X) x 1.0M (Y) x 1.0M (Z)

The Prisma is a very versatile machine with its 3 + 2 head and allows machining of some very complex tooling without multiple set up procedures

The addition of this new machine will enable Datum to offer our current & new customers a total machining solution and allow us to undertake far greater and more involved projects. With the inclusion of the latest Heidenhain controller running alongside the Delcam software it will ensure Datum stays competitive and reduce lead times.
