DATUM PATTERN AND MODEL MAKERS

Datum Pattern & Modelmakers was established in April 1997 at Alfreton Road, Derby. After one year we relocated to John street in Derby operating out of larger customised premises.

We specialise in the production of high quality Pattern and Model equipment in wood, resin, metal and Polystyrene.

Our customer base spans across the engineering spectrum from General Engineering Patternmaking to high quality and complex automotive pattern equipment. We also produce scale model equipment from concept design to full size working mock-ups.

Datum's versatility in production means that we can follow a project through from initial concept to working production prototype, to production items giving our customers a full scope of supply.

In 1999 we invested in the very latest CAD/CAM technology in the form of a Bridgeport machining centre, further expanding our services offered. We are now able to produce Pattern & Model equipment with the accuracy of CAD and with reduced lead times.
